An intensive yet sympathetic renovation has introduced contemporary convenience into this historic homestead. Nestled within a designer landscape, the updated design appropriately increased a sense of flow and connection to the stately grounds. Refreshing the elegant exterior also required a challenging reimagination of the home’s primary entrance to improve connections with living spaces. This challenge was met with a sensitive touch, seamlessly blending new and repositioned elements amongst the historic exterior. The same sensitivity has been applied within the up-scale interior in the preservation of delicate Victorian detailing. A classical touch creates a cohesive dialogue between the contemporary kitchen and bathroom additions with existing heritage elements, all of which have been finished beautifully for a highly discerning client.

About the
Professional

To us, architecture is not about the buildings we design. It’s about the people who inhabit the spaces within and around them. With that in mind, we’re not only accountable to our clients, but also to every person who sets foot inside one of our buildings. It’s a big responsibility which we take very seriously.

IKON is passionate about creating great spaces for working, learning, living and care. We pride ourselves on our meticulous approach which ensures not only the best outcome for each project but also the best process along the way.

Since founding in 1976, we’ve built a rich portfolio of projects across commercial, community, health, multi-use sporting and leisure. Our longevity is a testament to our client and a results-focused team that work towards the same goal: producing the best outcomes for you, your building and those who will use it.

At ArchiPro we recognise and acknowledge the existing, original and ancient connection Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples have to the lands and waterways across the Australian continent. We pay our respects to the elders past and present. We commit to working together to build a prosperous and inclusive Australia.
