Decoratively, plants support our mental and physical health and make us more productive and happier. At a practical level, plants are an effective component of design. They can be used for zoning, partitioning, branding, acoustic and visual variation, wayfinding as well as simply decorating.
·Plants naturally filter pollutants and increase oxygen levels. Cleaner air means fewer headaches, less fatigue, and a healthier workspace.
They reduce stress
·Multiple studies show that simply seeing greenery lowers cortisol levels. Plants create a calming, more grounded atmosphere—great for focus and emotional balance.
They make the office look better
·Greenery brings colour, life, and texture into an otherwise plain environment. It makes the space feel more welcoming, modern, and aesthetically pleasing.
They boost productivity and creativity
·Being around nature-like elements improves concentration, problem-solving, and creative thought. Even small desk plants can help people think more clearly.
They reduce noise
·Certain plants help absorb sound, which makes open-plan offices feel less chaotic and more conducive to deep work.
