Every architect who has specified a material for a complex project knows the moment: months after the drawings leave your desk, an RFI lands. Something about the detail. A join that can't be made. What the Corian® Design Certainty Service does

As Australia's exclusive Corian® distributor, CASF offers architects, designers, and specifiers a complimentary technical support service — from initial concept through to fabricator-ready documentation. No cost, no obligation.

Send us your plans. We'll make sure what you specify can actually be built.

The service covers five areas:

Buildability-validated shop drawings. Your detail, resolved against real Corian® fabrication knowledge — spans, joins, build-ups, thermoforming, integration. Validated before it leaves your desk, so it holds all the way through to the sub-contractor who eventually builds it.

Photo-realistic renders. The finished surface in real Corian® colours and finishes before anything is cut. Give your client the visual they need to sign off with confidence.

Cost certainty. A fixed quote tied to your approved shop drawings. What you tender is what gets built — no late value-engineering conversations that erode your design intent.

Prototyping support. On large projects, see and handle the real detail in the actual material before full production commences.

Material and colour confirmation. The right colour, finish, and configuration confirmed for your application — so your specification is current and buildable from day one.

Why it matters for complex environments

Healthcare, aged care, education, and food service environments demand compliance without compromising design quality. Corian® is fully non-porous, GREENGUARD Gold certified, and carries a Declare Label listing. The Design Certainty Service means you can specify with confidence in these environments — knowing the documentation will hold through tender, nomination, and fabricator handover.

The material

Corian® Solid Surface is thermoformable, enabling curved and organic forms across complex briefs. Joins are seamless across expansive surfaces. Sinks and basins integrate directly into the benchtop plane — no ledge, no joint, no bacteria trap. Surface damage can be sanded back and refinished in situ without replacement, materially extending serviceable life. Select colours incorporate recycled content. The full range spans over 70 colours.
