In this Canberra project, we delivered a bespoke sliding door solution that perfectly balanced open-plan living with flexible privacy.
The homeowners sought a way to seamlessly connect two adjoining living spaces while maintaining the option to section them off when needed. Our solution? A set of custom telescopic cavity sliding doors meeting at the corner—an innovative design that maximized functionality without compromising style.
Unlike conventional sliding doors, this project required a tailored approach to accommodate varying opening widths. One side of the opening features two telescopic panels, while the wider section incorporates three, ensuring a perfect fit for the space. When fully opened, the doors stack neatly into their concealed cavities, allowing the living areas to merge into one expansive environment. When privacy is required, they glide effortlessly into place, transforming the space into a quiet retreat.
This project is a testament to the versatility of overtaking sliding door systems. Regardless of layout complexities, our custom sliding door solutions adapt to any architectural challenge, providing seamless transitions between open and enclosed spaces. By integrating high-quality cavity slider technology, we’ve created a functional yet sophisticated interior that meets the evolving needs of modern living.
