Saturday Indesign is a one-day exhibition held in Sydney that connects the best mix of local and international products from leading brands with the architecture and design industry.
ICF will be exhibiting from their Waterloo Showroom, along with leading acoustics and insulation brand, Autex, to bring an informative and fun experience for attendees. On display will be visually spectacular installation pieces – using Autex acoustic panels – by students from the renowned Whitehouse Institute of Design.
Renowned industrial designer and director of Vert, Andrew Simpson, will be in conversation with Autex’s creative director, Jonathan Mountfort about re-engineering materials to challenge our idea of waste in Modern Materiality.
Attendees on the day will be well catered for:
A carbon-neutral company, Autex will showcase a sample of their new range, highlighting their journey towards circularity and consistent innovations within sustainability.
As a market leader in the field, Autex will also have some amazing pieces displayed throughout the ICF showroom, demonstrating the company’s strengths in design and collaboration, creating truly bespoke projects.
“From a personal perspective, I’m excited to be partnering with Infinity Commercial Furniture in an event such as Saturday Indesign. This is a true evolution of the growing relationship we have created over the last couple of years,” said Autex National Furniture Manager, Jared Blanke. “From a wider lens, Saturday Indesign is an amazing opportunity to showcase some of Autex’s latest innovations but, more importantly, network and connect with the design community from all over Australia.
“Autex has a strong belief in relationships. I hope to keep developing and strengthening genuine partnerships in the market, so that we can continue being the market leaders of collaborative acoustic design.’’
ICF will be participating in its second Saturday Indesign following from its successful inaugural event in 2022. Hosting from its 750m2 showroom in Waterloo, with over 350 commercial furniture products on display from workstations, tables, seating and storage. Key product ranges displayed will be the Cloud Modular System, Red Dot Design Award winning Ahrend acoustic booths, and a unique timber seating and coffee table range.
Attendees will be inspired by a range of seating from designers Poly (Yves Béhar), Harmo (Brogliato Traverso), Claus Breinholt (Canova and Sicla), Fiorenzo Dorigo (Porta Venezia) and Thomas Pedersen (Klejn).
“We’re excited to be participating again in Saturday Indesign with such an outstanding brand as Autex,” said ICF Managing Director, Darren Mifsud. “ICF is truly honoured to have the design and architecture industry visit our showroom and engage with the team. The last time we exhibited it was a fun day and we plan on it being even better this year.”
