Overview This project outlines the comprehensive transformation of a compact, single use laundry area into a highly functional guest bathroom and integrated laundry space. The core objective was to deliver a design that seamlessly merges upmarket aesthetics with practical utility – creating a tranquil and efficient environment.

Goals Spatial optimisation – convert the current laundry into a complete guest bathroom, including a shower and toilet. Integrated appliances & storage – design and install custom cabinetry to discreetly house a steamer, washing machine, and provide practical storage with a pull-out laundry door, ensuring a clutter-free environment. Infrastructure relocation – relocate the hot water cylinder to the attic to maximise usable space within the renovated bathroom. Elevated aesthetics – implement a high-end material palette, including Infinity Brazil matt tiles for sophistication and bespoke shou sugi ban wood and mesh panels for contrasting warmth and texture.

Vision The completed space will serve as a perfect retreat, embodying a tranquil yet practical atmosphere for guests and homeowners alike. It will be a testament to thoughtful design, high-quality finishes, and the seamless integration of luxury with everyday utility, establishing it as an ideal sanctuary within the home.
