Set against the dramatic landscape of Scottsdale, Arizona, the Modern Mountain project by Iconic interior and architectural studio, led by Kaitlyn Wolfe, captures the meeting point between modern living and the natural world. It’s a home that feels both strong and serene, built to sit quietly within its surroundings.
A balance of tone, texture and material
Every material in this home has been chosen to echo its mountain setting. Warm earthy hues combine with cool greys, reflecting the natural dialogue between stone and timber. The textures play a key role in defining each space — raw yet refined, grounded yet modern — creating a visual rhythm that feels cohesive and timeless.
Featuring: Viefe Brave
In the kitchen, the Brave handles from Viefe take centre stage. Finished in matte black, they bring contrast and precision to the cabinetry. Their clean geometry complements the architectural lines of the space, while the dark finish introduces a quiet strength that enhances the natural palette. Brave is a handle that feels at home here — understated, tactile and designed for modern simplicity.
Modern living in natural harmony
Modern Mountain is more than a home; it’s an interpretation of balance. The collaboration between Iconic by Kaitlyn Wolfe and carefully chosen details such as Viefe hardware demonstrates how contemporary design can connect seamlessly with nature. Each space invites stillness, warmth and a sense of belonging within the landscape.
