Te Hono, the New Plymouth Airport terminal, has been selected as a finalist in a prestigious international award which recognises architecture that strongly responds to cultural heritage.

Woods Glass are very proud of the work that has been completed at New Plymouth airport, we supplied the glass to our Group company Thermosash Commercial. Woods Glass was able to then source the very large glass panes that met the Architects intent for minimal mullions. The glass was installed at strong angles and with multiple notches to fit around posts. A challenging project that very few in New Zealand could have completed.

This article was published on the New Zealand Herald website and discusses the unique project which focuses heavily on imparting cultural stories through the design of the building.
