Designed by Franklin Landscape & Design and built by Franklin Pools Australia, the brief from Bec and her family was to not alter the original bones of the house and design an outdoor space that celebrates its classic lines and style.
The pool tile selection was critical to the outdoor area concept, as the pool tile sets the colour of the water, and the water colour sets the tone for the whole area. In this case, Amano Ice Blue mosaic 25x25mm was the perfect tile to compliment the grey tones of the pavers and adjacent rendered walls. A dark grey grout was chosen, which further expresses the individual mosaic tiles. We recommend a medium to dark grey grout colour as a rule-of-thumb for all our tiles, as even the best quality grouts will discolour over time, lighter colours are less-forgiving.
