Sculptural Italian tapware that will elevate your kitchen to the next level

The Italian difference

Antonio Frattini’s philosophy blends artisanal craftsmanship with modern innovation, creating functional art where each tap not only enhances daily experiences but also makes a striking visual statement.

The range’s design principles are lightness, innovation, and simplicity. Lightness offers visual freedom, innovation enhances usability, and simplicity requires meticulous precision for effortless elegance. These design ideals combine to create pieces that are timeless – transcending trends and maintaining their understated beauty in a constantly evolving design world.

Commitment to quality is also uncompromised, with all taps designed and produced in the family’s factory in northern Italy since the business was founded in 1933, shares Smilla.

“They stand out in the market thanks to their rich history and Italian quality, which is known as some of the highest quality, thanks to the dedicated time and energy Italian artisans take to perfect their trades, just like the Frattini Family has done for nearly a century.”

The sculptural nature of their tapware helps create a sense of emotion and expression within a space, transforming the tapware from being simple, functional fixtures, into design elements that evoke emotion.

“Their thoughtful geometric design creates a sense of flow and harmony, inviting users to interact with them on a tactile level. This expressive quality adds depth and personality to spaces, making the spaces feel intentionally curated.”

How to integrate Italian design into Kiwi homes

Antonio Frattini tapware effortlessly enhances any space with its extensive selection of shapes and finishes, allowing each piece to either command attention as a bold statement or seamlessly blend into its surroundings for a harmonious look. With eight distinctive finishes to choose from and the option to customise most taps in over 2,500 RAL colours, the possibilities for creating the perfect design are virtually limitless.

“Designers and homeowners alike can integrate Antonio Frattini taps by using them to either be a central hero piece that the space is then designed around, or as the finishing touch to tie together the whole space by matching the rest of the space (for example, the wood, metal finishings, colours),” shares Smilla.

By pairing Antonio Frattini tapware with complementary materials, you can accentuate their sculptural beauty, while maintaining consistency in metal finishes to strike the perfect balance between understated elegance and striking design elements. With a wide range of collections, Frattini taps can seamlessly flow throughout the home—whether in the bathroom, kitchen, shower, or bidet—ensuring a cohesive and stylish aesthetic from room to room.

For those interested in sustainability and reducing water consumption, Frattini’s R2 range offers a progressive mixer and integrated aerator to adjust the water flow, saving water, which is ideal for locations without access to a mains water supply.
