ForestOne introduces a warmer direction for the EGGER palette

Surface specification is becoming less about choosing a finish in isolation and more about building a coherent material language across an interior.

That shift sits behind ForestOne’s 2026 update to the Australian EGGER Decorative Collection, which introduces six new decors spanning stone-inspired finishes, walnut and oak. Together, they point to a clear direction in contemporary interiors: warmer neutrals, more tactile surfaces and greater visual continuity between joinery and surrounding materials.

The two new Ambiance Granite decors, F129 PA Beige Ambiance Granite and F128 PA Black Ambiance Granite, take that idea into the stone category. One works in soft beige and cream, the other in deeper blue and anthracite, but both are designed to bring more depth to larger surfaces through a predominantly matt finish, subtle gloss variation and synchronised texture. Their repeat-free imagery also helps the surface read more naturally across expansive applications.

The woodgrains move in a similarly restrained direction. H7604 ST17 Natural Dimaro Walnut introduces a lighter, softly bleached walnut with a low-gloss texture that references oiled timber, while three new Casella Oak decors extend the collection from pale natural tones through warmer and sandier variations. Their synchronised ST40 Feelwood Oakgrain texture follows the grain pattern closely, giving the surfaces a more convincing material presence.

Rather than chasing novelty, the update appears to be about refinement. “Each new décor has been selected to complement the current palette while giving architects and designers more opportunities to create warm, layered and cohesive interior schemes,” says Darryl Ball, Group Decorative Manager at ForestOne.

That makes the collection especially relevant to the way interiors are being composed now. Timber, stone, colour and texture are increasingly specified as part of one continuous scheme, with joinery playing a much more visible role in the overall architecture.
