A key aspect of modern workplace design is creating environments that are functional and inspiring. Zones and dynamic spaces – achieved seamlessly with movable walls – enhance the experience of those in the space, driving success for individuals and organisations.

“Look at your floor plans for underutilised floor area. Look at dynamic areas that can host a large boardroom meeting and then be transformed into multiple smaller meeting rooms in minutes to add value for your clients,” says Purdom.

“Operable walls are quite often a product that is not commonly used. It may be years between specifying. However, we have a team of people that can help from masterspec, BIM/CAD design to onsite visits. Make use of their combined expertise to make your life easy and to ensure that the correct model of wall is used for your application. Having a dedicated service team means that your investment will last longer and with our refurbishment programme, your walls can change with the trends.

“Whether it’s sub-dividing major university lecture halls or dividing a play centre, our new model of walls provides superior sound rating, refurbishment options and easy maintenance.”

As the only operable wall manufacturer in New Zealand, Trans-Space consistently invests in its people, technology and processes to not only produce but also maintain industry-leading products.

“By purchasing our product, you're not only buying a good product, but you're also helping keep manufacturing alive in New Zealand – which directly affects local people,” says Purdom. By keeping production locally, the wall systems can also be specified and installed much quicker and serviced if needed.

“It takes away the unknown quantity that is shipping – which can be four or five weeks, or even longer,” says Purdom. “If there is an issue with the walls after installation, we can help them out straight away because we hold all the components here in the factory. We’ve got the parts and we’ve got the expertise to do it.”
