At Prescom Constructions, we thrive on challenges and our recent Potts Point renovation put us to the test.
The project? A cramped 42sqm apartment built in the 1980s in one of Sydney’s most vibrant suburbs. With a broken elevator and limited space to work in, delivering materials and managing trades was no easy task. But we were determined to create a home that was not just beautiful, but also highly functional.
The result: A cleverly designed, light-filled apartment that maximises every square metre without compromising on style.

✨ Tips for Maximising Small Spaces If you’re living in a compact apartment or home, here are a few lessons we applied at Potts Point that you can use too:
Opt for built-in storage – Think under-bed drawers, wall-mounted shelving, and cabinetry that doubles as seating.
Maximise natural light – Mirrors and lighter finishes create the illusion of a bigger, brighter space.
Multi-functional furniture – Fold-out desks, extendable tables, or ottomans with hidden storage.
Smart layout choices – Position furniture to open up walkways and keep the room flowing naturally.
Small spaces come with big opportunities—you just need the right approach to unlock their potential.
