Transparent Roofing for New Builds & Retrofits

When specifying transparent roofing, achieving the right balance of natural light, weather protection, and design flexibility is often just as important as aesthetics. Trusted on New Zealand projects for over 15 years, ClearVue is a BRANZ Appraised roofing system designed for both new construction and retrofit applications. With comprehensive technical documentation, BPIR compliance, and local technical support, it provides confidence from specification through to installation.

Retrofits. New Builds. It Handles Both.

Retrofits. New Builds. It Handles Both.

ClearVue is designed to work across a wide range of project types.

Whether incorporated into a new build or installed onto an existing structure, the system can be used across multiple cladding types including weatherboard, brick veneer, masonry block, and fibre cement.

Installation details are available for low through to extra high wind zones, helping simplify design and construction considerations.

A Smart Alternative to Glass Roofing

While glass remains a popular option for transparent roofing applications, project requirements such as weight, structural considerations, installation requirements, and budget can influence material selection. ClearVue's flat panel design delivers a clean, contemporary appearance while providing a lightweight alternative.

The result is a roofing solution suitable for covered outdoor areas, canopies, walkways, and architectural applications where natural light and weather protection are both important considerations.

Backed by a 15-year replacement guarantee, it is a system trusted by builders, specifiers, and homeowners alike.

Five Panel Options to Suit the Project

Different projects require different levels of light and heat transmission.

ClearVue is available in five panel options:

Clear - 89% Light Transmission | 89% Heat Transmission
Grey Tint - 49% Light Transmission | 71% Heat Transmission
Diffused - 89% Light Transmission | 89% Heat Transmission | 100% Light Diffusion
Solar Control - 35% Light Transmission | 57% Heat Transmission
Blue Breeze - 70% Light Transmission | 55% Heat Transmission

The system can also be configured across rafter, purlin, and span bar applications, providing flexibility across residential and commercial projects.
