We've taken the guess work out of creating the perfect Perrin & Rowe shower experience. The hardest choice you'll make is the finish.
FINER DETAILS The Perrin & Rowe Example Shower Set 4C includes the handshower on sliding rail, and overhead arm with shower rose, diverter and single lever pressure balanced shower mixer.
Handshowers on sliding rails are ideal for a growing family, and excellent for easy cleaning around the shower box, while the overhead shower provides a fixed height option. Alternate between the two for a flexible arrangement for the whole household.
Shower roses come in three diameters with the 200mm being the most popular. The standard rose has a perforated plate and, when calcification is a problem in hard water areas, specify the Easyclean version with rubber holes.
The pressure balanced shower mixer means a consistent flow even if taps are turned on and off elsewhere in the home. The pressure balance valve fitted into the Perrin & Rowe shower mixer is sensitive to changes in incoming water pressure and thus provides safe showering. The pressure balance valve is a sophisticated plumbing device which ensures that the volume of mixed water which leaves the shower mixer is a constant mix of the hot and cold supplies, even if the delivery pressure of one of them changes. In the event of a drop in the hot or cold water supply, the output of the shower will immediately reduce to the pressure of the lowest supply line.
Pressure balancing shower mixers are suited to most systems. A minimum inlet pressure of 1 bar/100 kPa is required to achieve adequate performance. Accordingly, some gravity fed systems may not be suitable for pressure balanced shower mixers. The maximum inlet pressure is 5 bar/500 kPa.
The white porcelain lever can be changed to a black porcelain lever or to matching metal to complement the finish of the taps if desired.
The diverter distributes the mixed water from the valves, to the outlets. This enables the user to diverter water flow from shower rose to handshower.
