Roller blinds provide an easy, tidy and compact solution for blinds, conveniently rolling up when not in use. Although most roller blinds are made of fabric, these days other options, such as wood and thermally insulated composites, are becoming more popular. These blinds are available in different types: single roller blinds, double roller blinds, blackout roller blinds which are great to block the sunlight and increase privacy. ArchiPro has made it easy for you to choose your new blinds with its handpicked, high quality selection from trusted suppliers across Australia.
If you are installing the blind over the top of the window, it’s best to make the roller 5 cm wider and longer than the windows, to stop light leaking around the edges.
If your blind is fitted inside the window frame, you want to leave at least 3 mm between the blind and the window frame on all sides to prevent jamming. Too much of a gap will let more light in around the sides.
