A warm fusion of mid-century influence and contemporary craftsmanship, this Brooklyn kitchen balances rich natural materials with clean, functional design.
This Brooklyn Kitchen blends a refined 70s-inspired aesthetic with clean contemporary detailing and sustainable, durable materiality. Warm timber tones and open shelving create a relaxed, lived-in atmosphere, while the restrained palette and minimalist forms keep the space feeling crisp and modern.
The cabinetry is crafted from NZ Keruing Plywood finished in a Satin Lacquer, showcasing the natural grain and warmth of the timber throughout the space. Antique brass handles introduce a subtle vintage character that complements the 70s influence.
Brushed stainless steel benchtops and glass splashbacks meet the mid-century ethos and provides a robust, highly functional workspace with an industrial edge while reinforcing the kitchen’s understated retro sensibility. The overall composition delivers a warm, tactile kitchen that feels both timeless and distinctly connected to its Brooklyn, Wellington setting.
