Intro as lead consultant, has managed the delivery of the new Aldinga Bay Surf Life Saving Club facilities, located on Silver Sands Beach. In response to the storm damaged building it replaces, the new form leans into and braces itself against the coastal winds, whilst providing uninterrupted views across the protected dunes to the ocean beyond. The building’s leeward side will offer a sheltered kiosk that serves beachgoers. This new recreation facility will provide a contemporary asset to Surf Life Saving SA and surrounding communities, promoting both coastal protection and community prosperity.

The building form is an abstraction of the the natural elements inherent in a coastal environment. The facade lifts to creates openings that accentuate both the entry and main deck area to the beach front. The bold interior embodies the character and charm this club has built up over its 40 year period.
