Sowden Building Solutions proudly presents the Balmain EnerPHit project, commissioned by the Sowden family and completed in 2023 in contemporary style.
The project involved renovating an 1884 Victorian cottage to a Passivhaus standard, as well as adding a second storey to gain views of the city and bridge.
The interiors are modern, while the front of the house was restored to its original heritage look.
Wood fibre insulation, a heat recovery system, and solar PV ensure that the house is comfortable to live in, as well as cost-effective.
This renovation project is a testament to Sowden Building Solutions' expertise in Residential Extensions and Renovations.
