Banks Peninsula

The holiday home no one wants to leave Designed to capture the stunning Akaroa Harbour views, with action on the water and sensational sunsets, this weekend retreat is hard to leave and easy to like.  The desire for a truly seamless indoor outdoor lifestyle has been perfectly captured, with continuous floor levels from inside onto the balustrade-less, wraparound deck and suspended soffits matching the high internal ceilings. Floor to ceiling windows and sliding doors capture the views and enable an easy transition from the living and bedrooms to the deck.  Lighting accents inside reflect the changing kaleidoscope at twilight. Stone and cedar cladding are used to maximum effect to create an intimate yet striking entrance to a holiday home that’s perfect for everyday living.
