Beach House - Pauanui banner

“A site left vacant so long locals had assumed it was public land has resulted in a measured response to ameliorate the loss of a supposed public amenity. The transparent seaside H-plan lifts the ubiquity of the form through a simple glazed walkway that provides privacy and complexity. The layering and overlapping of external spaces successfully recreates the feeling of a camping experience, a key aspect of the brief. The many needs of a multi-generational family have been superbly balanced in a simple manner to realise an extraordinary solution with consummate skill.”

We strongly believe that the creation of well-crafted, timeless architecture is the key to sustainable design and we ensure that sustainable strategies are employed seamlessly into the overall design to enhance the comfort, quality, and delight of your home.

Our work is always informed by a site's physical and cultural setting. Working in some of the most remarkable and scenic locations in the country has resulted in a body of work that responds to its context in a timeless and elegant manner.

At ArchiPro we recognise and acknowledge the existing, original and ancient connection Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples have to the lands and waterways across the Australian continent. We pay our respects to the elders past and present. We commit to working together to build a prosperous and inclusive Australia.
