Nestles in the Ringwood Central Activities District, in a mix of commercial, retail and office spaces, there is a bustling hotspot for nightclubbing, dining and having a party!
The site's history tells a story of a nightclub once filled with punters dancing the night away. The opportunity to re-develop the site brings a breath of fresh air with a purpose-designed nightclub on the ground floor, a restaurant on the first floor and a formal function space on the second floor. Creating a landmark building marking the gateway to the Eastland shopping district has never been more exciting! The design includes a modern facade with tall vertical louvres sailing high and creating a new skyline for Ringwood. Stone cladding on the ground floor nightclub represents the strong and stable establishment that will soon re-open its doors to its loyal patrons, waiting in the wings to re-join the party!
The old building may be gone, but the strength of character will keep this club living.
The formal entry with is frameless glazing and modern industrial stairs lead up to the first floor- a Hamptons-inspired interior with a modern touch.
With its cabana-style booth seating and use of colour, the playfulness of the large outdoor terrace will see many a summer night spent sipping cocktails under the palm trees! Large sliding doors create a strong connection between the interior and outdoor spaces. The second floor gives patrons a modern formal room with high-quality finishes to celebrate their special occasions. The large openable sliding windows offer breathtaking views of Melbourne. The main reception room also opens out to an open terrace. The coffered ceiling, the timber floor, a lounge seating area- the scene is set for enjoying a glass of champagne!

Design, Town Planning & Development
e+mc2 is a design and development firm born from an obsession with all things related to the building of buildings and the business of business.
Behind this unhealthy obsession is big e; a self-professed property nerd who has a passion for the small footprint ethos of designing your home to harness the space it utilises, not the space it wastes.
Rather than developing healthy hobbies such as football or friends, big e spends his weekends researching new building materials or techniques that can yield higher efficiency in the use of space.
In a quest to develop cost-efficient designs that are both thoughtful and thought-provoking, few things get him more excited than multipurpose objects or spaces.
The projects to date have ranged from compact apartment renovations to spacious stately homes and majestic beachside villas, all following the philosophy whereby function and form must meet in equilibrium.
