Innovative Canopy Rain Shelter designed for Holden Auckland service centre, featuring an origami-inspired tent structure supported by strategically placed columns for enhanced space and functionality.
The tent canopy was developed as a rain shelter above client parking at ‘Holden Auckland’ service centre building.
While the first proposal was to emphasise the structural elements rather than the tent, finally it was replaced with the second solution adding several columns and placing them wider to achieve more space under.
Here the idea came to adapt basic origami technique to shape the tent.
