Clareville Residence: A Masterpiece of Timeless Elegance
Located in Sydney’s picturesque Northern Beaches, Clareville Residence is a stunning example of sophisticated, serene design. Created by Phoebe Nicol Interior Architecture, the home seamlessly blends timeless elegance with modern functionality, offering a vision of understated luxury.
The Clareville Residence exemplifies Nicol’s mastery in crafting spaces that feel both refined and livable. The design embraces natural light and organic materials to create a tranquil, airy atmosphere that invites relaxation.
A Neutral Palette with Depth and Warmth
The home’s palette is a testament to thoughtful layering. Soft, muted textiles harmonize with rich finishes of wood, stone, and metals, adding warmth and depth. This carefully curated combination ensures the space feels cohesive and inviting.
Havwoods Versailles Parquetry: A Stunning Focal Point
One of the standout features of Clareville Residence is the use of Havwoods Versailles Unfinished Parquetry from the Henley collection. Installed and finished onsite in a deliciously warm honey tone, this European Oak timber flooring grounds the kitchen and living spaces with a classical, elevated aesthetic. Its timeless appeal serves as the perfect foundation for the home’s design.
Attention to Detail Elevates Every Element
Every aspect of the Clareville Residence reflects meticulous attention to detail. Custom joinery, artisanal finishes, and thoughtfully curated décor pieces work together to enhance the home’s character. Nicol’s ability to balance vintage and modern is particularly striking, with antique and vintage statement pieces complementing luxurious, contemporary furnishings.
European Elegance Meets Australian Living
The design achieves a harmonious blend of European-inspired sophistication and contemporary Australian practicality. The result is a home that feels effortlessly stylish yet functional, perfectly suited to the lifestyle of its occupants.

Phoebe Nicol’s work on the stunning Clareville Residence highlights her talent for transforming spaces into havens of elegance and comfort.
