Coburg Arch House

The Coburg Arch House centres its living spaces around a rhythmic sequence of Zen 5Lite FPS50 Arch in Square Hinge Double Doors and Fixed Windows, introducing softness and vertical emphasis within a clean contemporary interior. The repeated arch geometry establishes a refined architectural language that carries across the rear elevation, balancing structure with elegance. Set within square outer frames, the arched steel glazing creates depth and shadow while maintaining crisp alignment with surrounding walls and openings. This interplay between curve and line allows the doors and windows to read as both sculptural and ordered—anchoring the living zone while framing views to the garden beyond. The slimline FPS50 steel profiles maximise glass area and natural light, enabling the arches to feel visually light despite their strong form. Operable double doors provide generous connection to the outdoor terrace, while adjacent fixed arch windows maintain symmetry and continuity across the façade. Internally, the steel arches soften the rectilinear architecture and complement the home’s calm material palette of timber flooring, textured drapery, and pale surfaces. The result is a luminous living environment where geometry, proportion, and light are carefully resolved through integrated steel glazing.
