Metwood ceiling soffits enhance the Cordis Hotel Pinnacle Tower extension with a durable, wood-like finish, seamlessly integrating contrasting aluminum panels for a striking entrance that reflects light and complements the stone walls.
The ceiling soffits created for the Cordis Hotel Pinnacle Tower extension were coated in Metwood.
Metwood was chosen as it provides the warmth and beauty of wood, but will give a hard wearing and long lasting appearance, that will require minimal ongoing maintenance, and is backed by a 25 year warranty on the base powder coating.
Metwood was applied to Insite Facades folded aluminum panels that were installed on opposing angles to provide contrast and texture which acts to reflect light into the entrance. These panels were also run though the internal ceiling entrance to provide a seamless look from outside to inside.
The Light Tawa finish was carefully chosen from the hundred of available finishes and provides an ideal contrast to the stone walls.
