With a goal of creating an aquatic habitat for various native wildlife, a stunning ecosystem pond with over 300 different plant species was installed in eight weeks. A smaller body of water in the expansive feature was formed as a breeding pond for fish and tadpoles, while the larger body of water was fashioned to protect fish, freshwater mussels, frogs and tadpoles from predatory birds such as kookaburras and egrets.
