Elegant residence in Darlinghurst featuring custom cabinetry, sophisticated decor, and a rich color palette that reflects the homeowners' personalities and existing artworks.
Woods & Warner were engaged on this project to complete all decorating within the rooms & soft design changes including flooring, lighting & cabinetry. The brief from the owners was for the residence to demand presence in a sophisticated & elegant manner & encapsulate a non-existing ambience. Custom designed cabinetry & alterations to the formal lounge room fireplace were required to create a defined presence in the interior. Simply by mixing metals & added reflective elements instantly demanded the need for a staggering amount of books & accessories to fill the walls with existing keepsakes & new object d’art. Fabrics, furniture & soft furnishings played a significant role in the interior to reflect the personalities of existing artworks & homeowners. The richness in colour palette was combined with impressive profiles & dominate patterns to bring energy & affluence to the spaces.
