This country home on the outskirts of Auckland was designed by Cate Creemers Architecture and Interiors.

It was a pleasure to work closely with Cate and the owners to bring their vision into reality; team work is the key to achieving great results. 
The site had some geotechnical challenges that required an engineering solution that included significant piling and a raft foundation. The house construction above ground was mainly timber frame with some structural steel elements. 
For us it was refreshing to build something brand new, given the majority of our work is either historical restorations or renovation. Being 100% in control of the structure was a real pleasure.
The finished home is a fantastic space for the family, the exterior pool and landscape areas lend themselves perfectly to entertaining or just relaxing. 
You can see that the materials and finishes selected allow the house to sit well on the landscape and give it an inviting appeal when approaching the property.
