This Dover Heights home by Project / Y was converted from 2 semi detached dwellings to a single free standing house. The 1930’s art deco structure already had great bones but needed some love to help bring it back to life. The extension to the back of the home was added creating a spacious kitchen, which flows out to an alfresco dining terrace, garden and pool area. It includes a 3 metre island bench and a butlers pantry to complete it.

The mix of the dark polyurethane shaker cabinetry, wood veneer and the matt brass Barrington Momo handles cohesively worked so well. Setting a sophisticated yet dramatic vibe. The handles tied in with the chandelier, brass inlay marble splashback tiles and brass tapware perfectly.

Momo Handles is of humble origin. Launched in 2008 with the vision to create a simple range of popular handles to supply Australia's kitchen and cabinet makers. Momo handles proved to be reliable, well designed and unpretentious. Inturn Momo’s popularity grew and it became clear designers and cabinet makers were craving a fresh approach that better balanced style and quality with affordability.

This watershed moment was the beginning of Momo’s journey and transformation. The team then diligently scoured international ranges, emerging trends and industrial design until there was a clear vision of how to best evolve the Momo offering.

Momo Handles had to re-imagine itself and unite it’s core brand values. Design aesthetics, beauty and quality are paramount to the brand. In 2019 they unveiled this vision with a refreshed look and an inspired new product range. The New Momo was born and it’s popularity soared. In 2020 they launched exclusive new designs, developed only for Momo Premium.
