Harbour Edge Living

Set above the harbour on Auckland’s North Shore, this contemporary family home is designed to make the most of its spectacular coastal outlook. Clean architectural lines, a low-pitched roof and extensive glazing create a strong connection between the interior, generous outdoor areas and the surrounding landscape. Natural materials, warm timber detailing and a calm, considered palette give the home a welcoming character. The open-plan kitchen, dining and living spaces are arranged for comfortable family life and easy entertaining, with views across the water providing a constant connection to the setting. With its thoughtful pavilion-style design, relaxed indoor-outdoor flow and beautiful harbour outlook, this home is a refined example of contemporary North Shore living by David Reid Homes.
