Luxury Coastal Living

Perched crisply against the sky, Peka Peka Beach Escape is a stunning contemporary coastal retreat that seamlessly blends natural beauty with sophisticated design. Its sandy hue clads the house, harmonising with whispering grasses and a cabbage tree grove that weave the home into the landscape. Inside, the carefully considered layout creates a personal sanctuary, maximising views of the beach and birdlife while connecting the family to the laidback spirit of the Kāpiti Coast. Built on a generous 1200sqm section nestled behind dynamic dunes, the 253sqm, two-level residence captures the essence of coastal living. Features such as an upper-level outdoor room, equipped with louvres and a barbecue, provide year-round outdoor living, while large windows frame breathtaking vistas. The use of Australian blackbutt timber for cladding and internal finishes, paired with minimalist aluminium joinery, reflects a quiet confidence and durability suited to the environment. The home's precise engineering, combined with craftsmanship by the builders, ensures a high-quality finish that honours its coastal setting. This exceptional project, completed in 2024, offers a relaxed yet refined escape just 45 minutes from Wellington, celebrating the rhythms of the coast in every detail.
