Greenwood Kitchen

The Opportunity: Modern Age Kitchens were honoured to bring Vicki Andrews’ Greenwood Kitchen design to life — a refined and highly detailed concept that demanded precision craftsmanship. This project presented an opportunity to blend traditional design elements with modern functionality, creating a kitchen that would feel timeless while serving the needs of a busy, social household. From the outset, our role was to interpret Vicki’s vision with accuracy, ensure each joinery detail aligned with the design intent, and deliver a space that celebrated both beauty and practicality. With extensive custom cabinetry, integrated appliances, and multiple work zones, this project allowed our team to showcase the depth of our workmanship and our ability to collaborate closely with designers to execute their concepts seamlessly. The Result:  The completed Greenwood Kitchen is a truly elegant and highly functional space, defined by meticulous joinery and a layout designed for effortless living. The joinery features classic shaker-style cabinetry, detailed end panels, and glass-fronted upper units that bring character and refinement to the space.  Tall appliance towers and deep drawer sets maximise storage while maintaining clean, balanced lines. Open shelving and basket drawers add a personalised touch, blending traditional warmth with modern practicality. The layout supports multiple workflows, with generous benchtops, a spacious island for both prep and entertaining, and an L-shaped sink zone that creates an efficient cleaning hub. Natural light floods the room through expansive windows, enhancing the crisp white cabinetry and warm timber flooring. Together, the design and craftsmanship deliver a kitchen that is visually timeless, exceptionally functional, and built to a premium level of detail — a standout example of designer-led joinery brought to life with precision.
