Explore the transformation of the Grey Lynn Bungalow, a 1920s residence elevated to a light-filled 5-bedroom, 3-bathroom sanctuary. This project, completed in 2023, showcases a Contemporary architectural style that seamlessly integrates modern luxury with historical charm.
The design brief was meticulously executed, featuring a walk-through wardrobe leading to a sun-drenched ensuite in the master suite, emphasizing maximum indoor-outdoor flow. The addition of an elevated above-ground pool and spacious rear balcony enhances the living experience. The butlers pantry/larder area optimizes kitchen storage, complementing the open plan living concept. Noteworthy is the restoration of key original features such as doors, handles, and windows, preserving the heritage of the bungalow while embracing a contemporary aesthetic.
