Headlands Hotel

Headlands Hotel is a large scale hospitality venue in Austinmer, NSW. Mori & Curll were engaged to give the main bar, cafe and beer garden a refreshing new look. Utilising Knotwood timber look batons on the ceiling of the beer garden, main bar, decks and cafe to soften the space and add texture. They incorporated pops of green throughout the spaces to accentuate the landscape. Custom stone furniture pieces and brass accents are used throughout to add a sense of luxury. Furniture was also curated for the sports bar, deck and smoking area. Mori & Curll carried that palette, textures and materials used in the beer garden, main bar and cafe throughout these spaces. Working closely with Mori & Curll, Level supplied a curated selection of outdoor furniture from the Roku collection by Bent Design, helping bring the revitalised hospitality spaces to life. The collection includes outdoor dining furniture specified throughout the hotel's outdoor dining and social spaces. Constructed with lightweight aluminium frames and durable powder-coated finishes, the Roku collection was selected for its ability to withstand the demands of a busy coastal hospitality environment. Its weather-resistant design ensures long-term performance while providing flexibility for venue operators to adapt seating layouts as required. With clean lines and a contemporary aesthetic, Roku complements the hotel's relaxed coastal character while delivering the durability required for commercial use. The result is a cohesive outdoor setting that balances comfort, functionality and design, supporting Headlands Hotel's transformation into a modern hospitality destination for locals and visitors alike.
