Sector: Multi-Unit Housing
Located on the fringe of the Sydney CBD, this mixed-use development adjoins Australia Technology Park, the historic former site of the Eveleigh Railway Yards. It responds deftly to both its heritage context and SEPP 65, delivering 28 luxury apartments and ground floor retail within a mid-rise form that mirrors the design vocabulary of historic buildings through sawtooth roofs, clerestory windows, and a sculptural curved masonry wall.
The development’s design value, heritage sensitivity, and incorporation of passive design principles were recognised by inclusion on the shortlist of the Future Projects – Residential category of the 2015 World Architecture Festival.
