By Rylock Windows & Doors
This scenic estate is made up of three linked pavilions perched high above the water. While this site offers breathtaking views of South Australia’s Fleurieu Peninsula, it is also exposed to strong winds and harsh glare – meaning windows and doors had to deliver on durability and performance.
All glass is grey tinted to minimise glare and excessive summer heat gain. The majority of products are double glazed, except for single glazed Butt Joint Windows that provide an uninterrupted corner view. Complete with architectural transoms, these windows also incorporate a hard low-e coating for energy efficiency.
This project integrates a broad range of Rylock products, including Sliding Doors for egress and cross ventilation and Casement Windows which introduce cooling sea breezes into the home.
Well considered product selections ensure the home’s striking appearance is matched by its energy efficiency.
