Linwood College Chch

The team at Warner Fences Canterbury worked with Fulton Hogan at Linwood College to provide a pedestrian management solution for the busy crossing outside the main entrance of the college.  Many students had been crossing the centre medium to get across the road instead of using the traffic light crossing. Warner's installed a continuous run of fencing either side of the traffic lights to stop this and instead encourage students to use the traffic light crossing. The straight run of fencing in itself was very simple but as it needed to be installed on a busy main road with double lanes on both sides, Warner's had to work with Traffic Management to ensure the project ran safely and smoothly. One lane on either side of the road was closed during school hours while the installation was completed. The end result is a practical pedestrian management solution that provides safety for both the staff and students of Linwood College. The fencing looks great and the red powdercoat colour chosen makes the fencing stand out while also tying in with the College's logo.
