Manly House, Whangaparaoa Peninsula banner

This Kiwi bach was designed by Strachan Group Architects (SGA) for a family in Manly on the Whangaparaoa Peninsula, just north of Auckland.

Dryden WoodOil was used inside and out of this contemporary home, both in the interior and on the exterior of the project.

The slatted timber screen of the canopy is protected from the coastal environment with Dryden WoodOil.

Dryden WoodOil is a versatile product that can be used across a wide spectrum of climates, from snow and rain-drenched environments to coastal and native bush, Dryden’s water-repelling properties prevent the absorption of moisture deep into the timber, reducing excessive warping, cupping and splitting of the timber over time, extending the service life of the timber.
