A beautifully rebuilt family home that honors its 1920s roots while maximizing waterfront potential, featuring meticulous craftsmanship, modern design, and thoughtful space planning for a harmonious living experience.
New modern family home was rebuilt to respect the original building from the 1920's. Creating a modern healthy family home that utilised the full potential of the waterfront property.
The home was rebuilt to keep the 1940s character and to gain maximum use from the waterfront property. This step waterfront site required connecting the house and landscape from the street down to the waters edges which shares a large boat shed on the property maximising the properties full potential.
Preserving the original character of a 1920s home required craftsmanship and attention to detail. Integrated with modern design to elevate both aesthetics and functionality, resulting in a beautiful new family home.
Craftsmanship was paramount in maintaining some of the home's original features, with intricate woodwork and architectural details. Ensuring the home retained its character while also meeting modern standards
Functionality was key and thoughtful space planning ensures that each room serves its purpose while maintaining a sense of flow. Open-concept layouts encourage interaction and connectivity, while designated areas for relaxation, work, and play cater to the diverse needs of family members of all ages. Honoring the craftsmanship of the past and embracing the opportunities of the present, it's a cherished family home.
