ABOUT THE PROJECT

Focused around a stunning and vibrant Brazilian artwork, commissioned specifically for the restaurant, the design emphasises the artwork at every opportunity. Dark tones and timber textures contrast and enhance the bold piece, ensuring its dominance is felt throughout the restaurant. From the street, passers-by are teased by flashes of colour peeking through vinyl clad windows bearing simple cut-out lettering ’MEET’.

Internal planning creates two distinct zones. A casual dining area is located adjacent to the bar. Defined by timber clad booth seating and subdued lighting, the area is intimate and inviting for those looking for a quiet meeting. The main dining hall is loose, eclectic and loud; long social tables turn quiet meetings into carnival gatherings when the space is transformed into a dancefloor come fiesta time.

About the
Professional

As a team of architects, designers and project managers with local knowledge and international experience, we are constantly putting our skills to the test to create outstanding design solutions for our clients across the multi-residential, workplace, education, health, retail, community, residential, industrial and hospitality sectors.

Architecture is expressive, innovative and creative, but it’s also about solving problems and overcoming limits. Our team challenge the status quo, elevate clients’ missions, and seek to measurably improve lives and communities.

At ArchiPro we recognise and acknowledge the existing, original and ancient connection Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples have to the lands and waterways across the Australian continent. We pay our respects to the elders past and present. We commit to working together to build a prosperous and inclusive Australia.
