The Mission Bay renovation was carried out over three stages so that the clients could live in the home through out the project. The home is one of the oldest in mission bay and while the clients wanted to up date the home they insisted on keeping with the original style. The entire home was insulated, re wired and re lined, the renovation included two new bathrooms and a new kitchen and laundry, the existing floors were patched with matching boards from the old Blenheim hospital and sanded and finished to match. The architraves and skirtings had to be made on site to match the original profiles. "The HD Building team have carried out numerous projects for us over the last 5 years including a major renovation of our home. Henry and his team were meticulous in their workmanship. Their guidance and thoughtfulness throughout our renovation saved us a lot of unnecessary stress. They treated our project as though they were working on their own home. We couldn't fault their work and professional attitude, and would willingly recommend them to future clients." – M & R Lockhart

Professional Reviews

“We engaged HD Building to renovate a rundown 500 sq metre office space into a small hotel with a limited time frame. A difficult brief. Included was the major renovation of an existing restaurant — a new kitchen, new layout, accommodation, a shop, a function room and a office. Working tirelessly throughout the building process, they came up with innumerable solutions to unexpected problems. The workmanship of the team and suppliers was of a very high standard; they finished the project on time and on budget; and we are very happy with the end result”
