Mt Eden Villa Restoration

This remarkable renovation breathes new life into a classic transitional bungalow in Mt Eden, blending the best of both villa and bungalow architecture with modern charm. The transformation was so successful it earned a Gold Award in the Renovation $500,000–$1 million category and a place in the National Top 100 at the 2025 Master Builders House of the Year awards. The top floor was completely gutted and rebuilt, allowing for a smart redesign that enhances both form and function. By restructuring the home, we relocated the kitchen and installed new, strategically placed windows to flood the space with natural light. Every detail of this renovation was carefully considered, resulting in a beautifully refined interior that balances timeless character with contemporary living. High-quality finishes, exquisite custom timber joinery by Next Level Joinery, and elegant fixtures elevate the home, creating a warm and inviting space that feels both luxurious and practical. From the clever use of space to the impeccable craftsmanship, this award-winning renovation proves that a well-executed design can completely transform a home while preserving its original character. These results are a testament to the close collaboration between our clients, designers, and build team — where shared vision, precision planning, and uncompromising quality came together to deliver a home that is both beautiful and built to last.
