Northbridge House

A soft, textile-driven project, the Northbridge waterfront project features distinctly feminine details which are cocooned within a strongly masculine architectural shell. There is a play of concepts such as soft and harsh, playful and serious, colourful and neutral, contemporary and old. The juxtaposition dances harmoniously within this newly built-for-purpose architecturally designed home. Working alongside the architect, our brief was to marry old with new; sentimental collectibles and inherited treasures, lives spent in London and Sydney, pretty textiles with limestone and concrete, and new furniture and furnishings.
