Otahuhu Interchange banner

Otahuhu Interchange was a proposed rail, bus and vehicular interchange located in Otahuhu Auckland. It was felt that an elevated concourse connecting the two pedestrian approaches to the site was a simple, effective and sculptural device for connecting the different transportation modes.

This singular move was designed as a sweeping pedestrian free movement area which then led via escalators to the rail platform and the plaza level of the bus and vehicular interchange.
