A vibrant family home in Palo Alto, California, featuring a complete interior renovation that balances comfort and quality with playful design elements, tailored for a family with two teenage boys.
Brooke Aitken Design worked on this project in Palo Alto, California remotely from Australia before Covid made remote working a standard everywhere in the world. The project included a total gut of the interior of the Silicon Valley house and behind the pretty shingled facade is a bright and dynamic family home for the clients and their two teenage boys. There’s a relaxed nature to the spaces - comfort and quality in equal measure with a large dollop of colour throughout.
A mix of robust yet elegant furniture makes the home playful and comfortable and provides separate places for adults to go for a bit of relaxation and peace when the kids are in other parts of the house.
