"The space is a response to the rawness and beauty of the Central Otago landscape. In small ways it looks to the epic materiality of the mountains and lakes that surround it. We chose VidaSpace's Equinox for its earthy dark tone and charcoal grain and cut it with polished stainless steel details, creating a tension between materials that are rich and raw and details that are restrained and refined. "
