Pretty in Pink

Pretty in Pink | Designed by Fremont Studio Brought in as part of a wider renovation, we created built-in cabinetry to match the character of this heritage home, echoing its signature arches and curves throughout. From the moment you step through the door, cosy touches draw you in: a bench seat beside an arched bookshelf, a study nook in the bedroom, and the pièce de résistance: blush pink built-in bookshelves framing the fireplace in the living room. Colour was central to this project, with multiple samples tested to get the tones just right. We landed on a soft blush finish for the living room bookshelves, complemented by a botanical wallpaper peeking through from behind. With such a strong focus on aesthetics, we worked closely with both the builder and designer to resolve tricky detailing on site, even bringing in a paper hanger to ensure a flawless application and achieve the intended ambience of the space.
