Recycle Boutique

In late 2020 Recycle Boutique made the decision to relocate to a significant new premises in central Christchurch. Working with JCA the clients were keen this fit-out build on the ‘playful and free’ mood - retaining the youthful energy but be a graduation and elevation for the brand. A more structured and formal design, in part to reflect the new location amongst some of the city’s more established retail brands and appeal to a broad audience. An oversized central counter was required for staff to both sell and accept clothing from patrons. The central counter also vital for surveillance over the dual entry and exit points and change rooms. Reuse of elements from the existing store was also key. The interior built on the brands identity, with softer pastel colours introduced to bring calm. Bold geometric forms with interesting materials and textures aim to create an youthful and fun environment.
