Photography: Hodges Real Estate CATEGORY Renovations This three bedroom period home is transformed into a low maintenance North facing urban oasis with light filled open plan living, modern conveniences and top quality comforts. Inbuilt storage increased the functionality of the period layout and generous double glazed sliding doors open the previously enclosed dark space. Restored period details retain the homes old-world character that transition to a contemporary open plan design opening up to an undercover entertaining deck taking full view of the leafy backyard.

“Right from the beginning my wife and I felt that Mark and his team were focused on listening to what our needs were, at the same time providing plenty of options and innovations for us to consider. It was important to us that Mark had a sound knowledge, and practical experience, of incorporating eco-friendly and sustainable features into the design. Our project was very much a collaborative process which resulted in an outstanding, and much appreciated, outcome. ‘Koorameet’ continues to receive much complimentary feedback from friends and guests who have been fortunate enough to enjoy its delightful amenity as a short-term rental property.”
